Road Rage Driver Opens Fire On Schuylkill Expressway, Troopers Say

State police are searching for the driver of a Mustang who they say fired a gun at another motorist on the Schuylkill Expressway during a road rage incident.

It happened in the eastbound lanes on I-76 near the 30th Street Station, Trooper Shyeasha Ayala wrote in a release. State police were called about a car accident just after 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2. 

At the scene, the driver of a crashed vehicle said he was fleeing gunfire from a red Ford Mustang when he lost control of his car. Troopers searched the highway and recovered several shell casings from the road, according to the release. 

Authorities reported no injuries from the shooting or the accident.
